Eli Chester is a Senior Director of Investments at Blaze Partners where he leads acquisitions across the Southeast and Texas for Conventional and BTR strategies and nationally for Active Adult. In this capacity, Mr. Chester is responsible for the sourcing of acquisition opportunities, investment analysis and due diligence, creation and execution of asset strategies, performance oversight of sponsored investments, and asset dispositions.
Prior to joining Blaze Capital Partners, Eli was at Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales where he was actively involved in over $1 billion of multifamily transactions throughout the Southeast. Specifically, he was responsible for origination and execution of investment sales opportunities and equity capital raising efforts throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Coastal Georgia. Previously, Eli served as Portfolio Manager for State Bank and Trust Company and was involved in the origination, underwriting, and maintenance of a $250 million loan portfolio consisting of multifamily, industrial, and retail assets.
Eli received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and was a member of the football team.
Eli currently resides in Charleston, SC.
